Physician employment by hospitals and medical practices continues to be on the rise.  We have helped many medical practices and physicians with physician employment agreements.  It’s easy to gloss over the verbiage typically packed into these agreements. But you don’t want to fall asleep at the wheel.  Every physician employment agreement is a significant transaction, for both the employer and the employee.  The employment of highly compensated physicians is subject to many state and federal regulations.  It is important to get these contracts right.
